Koenigsegg Regera


The Koenigsegg Regera is a limited production, plug-in hybrid sports car, manufactured by Swedish automotive manufacturer Koenigsegg. The name Regera comes from the swedish verb 'regera' which means 'to reign'. Koenigsegg states that the Regera will be the most powerful and fastest accelerating production car ever. The car was unveiled at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show. The Regera is limited to 80 units only.

Engine


The Koenigsegg Regera combines a powerful twin-turbo V8 combustion engine with three electric motors and cutting edge battery power via new powertrain technology called Koenigsegg direct Drive (KDD). This revolutionary technology removes the traditional gear box, making the car lighter and more efficient.
