The Lamborghini Aventador is a mid-engined sports car produced by the Italian manufacturer Automobili Lamborghini S.p.A. The vehicle was designed to replace the ten year old Lamborghini Murcielago as the new flagship model.

Engine


The Lamborghini Aventador uses Lamborghini's new 700 PS 6.5 litre V12 engine.
Its transmission, a single clutch seven speed semi-automatic, is built by Graziano Transmissioni. Despite being single clutch, gear shifts are accomplished in 50 mili-seconds.
